Description
Respiratory health is a concern for many, especially during certain times of the year when external factors may impact our ability to take a nice deep breath. Lungs are obviously a major component of respiration, but airways and blood vessels also are important and play a role in bringing oxygen into the body and waste gases such as carbon dioxide out.
We have designed Respiratory Resilience to provide nutrients that support the function of the respiratory and immune systems:
N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) derived from the amino acid l-cysteine, n-acetyl cysteine (NAC) offers a wide range of benefits:
- Respiratory health
- Promotes healthy lung tissue
- Immune health
- Support for healthy levels of inflammation
- Antioxidant production
Vitamin C Vitamin C is well known as a potent antioxidant and a nutrient critical for the support of your immune system. A number of studies also show that vitamin C also supports the respiratory system including the upper respiratory tract.
Quercetin Quercetin is a flavonoid and antioxidant that is found in leafy greens, broccoli and berries. Quercetin has been shown to support healthy levels of inflammation and supports the bodys reaction to environmental allergens (anti-histamine). Studies have also shown that quercetin and vitamin C work synergistically in supporting the immune system.
Bromelain An enzyme derived from pineapples, bromelain has been shown to support healthy levels of inflammation, to support the upper respiratory system (especially sinuses), and to aid in healing.
Dimethylglycine (DMG) an amino acid, DMG has been used for many purposes, including respiratory support, support of the immune system, and support of healthy levels of inflammation.
Cordyceps Cordyceps is a medicinal mushroom that has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries for a number of health benefits including support for the respiratory system, support for healthy levels of inflammation, and a healthy immune system.
We have also included vitamin D and zinc for immune system support, and turmeric extract for support of healthy levels of inflammation which supports the respiratory system.
