Some people have a hard time absorbing vitamin B-12 due to the lack or deficiency of a certain protein. Intrinsic factor binds to vitamin B12.
After attaching, intrinsic factor and B12 travel to the intestines to be absorbed into the bloodstream. Vitamin B12 is needed for red blood cells to form and grow.

B-12 Intrinsic Factor which provides vitamin B12 and methylfolate in addition to Intrinsic Factor to aid in the absorption of vitamin B12 for the supports of red blood cells, energy production, and nerves.
