The BARD LUBRI-SIL Foley catheter is a free silicone catheter., not made with natural rubber latex. The hydrogel coating creates a “cushion” between the catheter surface and the delicate urethral tissue, reducing friction and improving patient comfort. Lubricious catheter surface allows for smoother insertion. Clear construction permits visualization of mucous build-up, clots and initial urine flow.
